Review of Mein Kampf by Adolf Hitler

Mein KampfMein Kampf by Adolf Hitler
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Disclosure:
I come across this book as a recommendation on Goodreads due to my selection of "the Diary of a young Girl" by Ann Frank, as a "read", actually I looked for it over the web and I found an unabridged version of James Murphy as the translator. and so I decide to put a nice review for this worthy book.

My Plot:
I am confused to say whether the book was an autobiography of the German Leader Hitler or a political exposure of the main writer, any way; the writer starts telling about his childhood where he was born in a small town between the two states, I mean Germany and Austria. and how the German youth were meant to take the burden and joint between the two states, Hitler went on telling about his learning stage and suffering in Vienna, about his political views based on his period in Vienna, and how the events has build up from his a mighty leader. In his book he took several aspects and stages that build up his Ideological background. In fact he was predicting that Germany should be ruled by a superior race, and all causes that makes Germany shrinking should be stopped. These cause include the responsibility of Jews behind Germany's signing the Versailles accord, and the well-build power of Germany's enemies called the Alliances, and so on and so forth..... In the second volume of the book the writer changed the subject of the Thesis, speaking now of the Socialism and the National movement, in this part show up his intentions that Germany should be in a need of colonies, and that the focus should be on the east side of Europe, in order to accomplish the noble cause of Germany. Through most chapters Jews were a point of focus to the writer, and that expose his extreme ideas of Antisemitism.

Positive and Negative Aspects:
Since the book was a cause for political rage, I decide to review the literary side of the book and to throw aside the contents. Now speaking of positive aspects, I discover that "My Struggle" was a literary quality that translate Hitler's skill in literature, I really enjoy his style of story telling, the events flow and the specific language. Actually it was a nice combination between Autobiography and Political exposure. Though it shows a close connection between language and Ideology. In fact the book of "My Struggle" is an introduction that reveals the nice quality of the German literature, and that's quite obvious especially through the enormous translations that this book has undergone.

My Personal Reaction:
As I state before. I was fascinated by the literary quality of the book, and I wish I stay objective all the time since my intention in Goodreads is not to criticize. In fact Hitler's Autobiography shows a main step toward the literature written in Prison. I admit that this book was my second step toward the German literature after the Diary of Ann Frank, which was written in a hiding place. Anyway I won't make a combination but I wish to reveal that difficulties give born to something better. The book I read was translated in English but I wish I would have a chance to learn German and reread in its mother language. I am wiling to make a big analysis to this work from all the aspects, but all I need is a little support.

Recommendations:
My recommendations will come from a literature side. I would recommend "My Struggle" to all the people who want to explore the German literary quality, and to those who want to test the theory that says "Difficulties give born to Tenderness".

Review of Muffled Rhythms by Khalid Chaouch

Muffled RhythmsMuffled Rhythms by Khalid Chaouch
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Disclosure:
As a graduate in the English Department, I try to look for some different publications in English written by Moroccan, so I come across this book of Poetry, It's me who add it to the Goodreads database in addition to the author profile.

Overview:
First of all the book is a collection of Poems written by a Moroccan English Teacher, Most of the Poems' subjects inside the book spoke about the life and the Childhood of the Author, his Psychological imagination about certain situation in life.
Concerning the main contents, the Book starts with a preface that shows the main objectives of the Moroccan culture translated in English, after that the numbering system of the book contents goes in the reverse, it begins with Ten: A Cry in the Wadi, and so it goes till it last to One: The last poem. So the general synopsis that the reader may outcome, is that the Poem writer tries to avoid all the Political aspects of his society, and gave much focus to the childhood and the main cultural components that he encounter during his life. Sometimes the reader may come across some surpasses concerning the form of the poem especially in the poem of Roots and the Wheel of Misfortune.

Positive and Negative Aspects:
The general idea that the reader may encounter is that, Khalid Chaouch tries to implement some of the new forms of Poetry to his publication. And that is quite obvious from the pragmatic form of all his poems; there is much focus on blanks, playing with letters and forms of the Poems, there is a new touch concerning the subject that each poem takes, in addition to the simplicity of expression. Anyway this touch modernization tend to be so dominant in the whole Poetic work. in addition to the over focus of Arabic elements in most of his poems. Concerning the stylistics, most of the poems represent a new form of this techniques, meaning that even with modernization, stylistics may come across all the forms of our speech.

My Personal Reaction:
Personally, the writer of this work used to be my teacher in several subject, during my study in the faculty, so as word, I admit that I enjoy this publication of Poems, mostly due to its witty style, and the simplicity of the Moroccan soul, away from the life complication, as a reader I got the feeling that these poems came from the soul of simplicity and childhood, so the least thing we can do is to enjoy it and forget about our backgrounds.

Recommendations:
I am not quite sure for whom I may recommend this Poems, but since the writer has won a prize from the British council in Morocco, I came to believe that most British people became familiar with the style of that writer. Thus I recommend this poems to all the funs of the Moroccan life, and those who have the intention to explore the main components of the Moroccan cultural life.

Review of The Big Silver Book of Russian Verbs by Jack Franke

The Big Silver Book of Russian Verbs: 555 Fully Conjugated VerbsThe Big Silver Book of Russian Verbs: 555 Fully Conjugated Verbs by Jack Franke
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Disclosure:
The Big Silver Book of Russian verbs is one of the most reference That I use to check for the verb forms in the Russian Language, I bought it in Paperback and I have it in eBook format too.

Overview:
First of all, this book is meant for English people who have the intention to learn the Russian form of conjugation, The Book is well designed to make the Reader go smooth with learning this form of Grammar. First the book gave you an overview of the verbs, Pronouns, the most important part is the stem (meaning the ending of the verb), The Reader of the book is meant to follow the steps easily in order to overcome the difficulties of Grammar in Russian, Because the most crucial part in Language Learning is the Grammar. Browsing through the chapters the reader may encounter all the essential parts of the Russian verbs, the groups that they belongs to. and the suitable conjugation form that they may undergo. Besides, the Book may show you all the forms that the Russian verb takes during the speech process. and in the last, there is an Exercise page for strengthening knowledge concerning the verb conjugation, in addition to the Russian English glossary for better understanding the meaning of the verbs.

Positive and Negative Aspects:
The Book I am reviewing used to be my Teacher concerning the learning process of Russian Language, so the most beautiful part in the book was the design and the simple language used to explain the main components of the book contents, In addition to the alphabetical arranging of the verb so it was easy to get to the verb you are looking for. Anyway it was a nice combination to go through bilingual process between English and Russian in order to simplify things. But the Result was positive finally, In addition to that, the reader of the Book may encounter phrases including verb usage and Idioms, so through this strategies, the learner will get closer to the main components of the Russian Language.

My Personal Reaction:
I may admit that this book helps me out more to learn about this Language, in addition to the close relation that I get between English and Russian, in fact it makes me feel being able to make a comparison between the two language, and that's the main positive part in the Book. Besides, I get the slightest ideas of how to express myself in Russian without making much more errors concerning the verb conjugation. Anyway the book was so helpful.

Recommendations:
I may recommend this book to those who's Russian is weak, and those who's Russian is not there second language, Though it may be helpful to them to get in contact with the vague world of the Russian Language. Otherwise I would say that by learning this Language one may be able to benefit from the great literature works that this language gave to the world heritage. So be encouraged and take the nice step.

Review of Lady Chatterley Lover by D.H. Lawrence

Lady Chatterley's LoverLady Chatterley's Lover by D.H. Lawrence
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Disclosure:
As my devotion to D.H. Lawrence works, I found this book free in the website of Planet eBook. The Book contains some errors that should be ratified but anyway it was OK.

My Plot:
The story begin with the description of the social status of Characters, Constance the hero of the story and her sister were enjoying an Artistic life, Constance get married with Clifford Chatterley who was a baronet at the Wragby. Clifford was a Military agent in Flanders, and during war he got paralyzed, and get back to live in Wragby after the death of his father Sir Geoffry. Constance in this respect was living a normal life with her husband at the Wragby, he was looking after the family's heritage, the wood and all the properties that were under the domination of the family, Emma Chatterley the only sister of Sir Clifford due to her mistreatment with Constance moved to London to a lead a lonely life. Connie or Constance as the writer called her, have had a nasty life during her stay at Wragby, she didn't like the population out in Stacks Gates and Tevershal, most of the population were colliers working in Pits, the whole environment seemed too dark and gloomy. She hang out to the wood from time to time till she discovered the Game Keeper of sir Clifford. His name was Oliver Mellors. in this moments Sir Clifford was working as a writer and most of Artists visited them at Wragby. Connie fell in love with Michaelis an Irish born American play writer, This intrigue was just for the sake of sexual fulfillment, but Michaelis was somehow a rude boy to her especially when it comes to the sexual side. Clifford tell her one day that he need a Child to be the Heir of the Chatterley's. and to keep the Tradition of the Family. Connie was reluctant to choose with whom she might mate in order to accomplish Sir Clifford's will. And finally she falls in love with the Game Keeper who was somehow her best Fantasy, she fulfills all her sexual needs with him, he was something live according to her definition, not like those arrogant artists who leads the mental life and ignore the aspect of women. Connie broke her Intrigue with Michaelis, and gave much attention to the Game Keeper, when time comes for her trip to Venice she promised Sir Clifford she will come back to him. But during her stay in Venice she discovered that she was pregnant from Mellors the Game Keeper, she decided to leave Clifford and to run away for her new life with Mellors. Sir Clifford by discovering this unpleasant events decided to change his view with Connie, he refused to give her the divorce and refuse the aspect that her "Ladyship" was on an intrigue with one of his servants. So the end goes like this: Connie got back to Scotland waiting Clifford to gave her the Divorce. Mellors also waits for the legal divorce of his ex-wife Bertha Courtts, and finally got a job in a farm located in the English Midlands.

Positive and Negative Aspects:
The whole story was funny but nasty at the same time, all the Characters went on from a simple process to the most complex climax, Connie at the beginning was sweet and at last it grows nasty leaving her legal husband to live with a "Vulnerable Game Keeper". Besides the sexual side was so present in the whole story, It was too bold and shameful to depict such hot scenes in a poetic style. In addition D.H. Lawrence was hardly doing two things at the same time, He was criticizing the Industrialization of Britain, and at the same time gave much focus to the Natural side leaving so much description to the wood and to the forests. His style of describing the Colliers village was so long and nonsense. He could go describing Tevershal or Stacks Gates in more than one Chapter, so much description that leads to no result or a slight Idea of how the place is. But the most nasty thing was the Derbyshire accent that was used most of the time by Mellors conversations with Connie. It was very hard to understand what he was saying unless you make some linguistic modifications to the syllables used in his speech. Lawrence in this situation did not care about the foreign reader more than he cares about his intention for writing the story. It was a bold manner to stick to one culture and to let the foreign reader outside it. Anyway the story was nonjudgmental.

My Personal Reaction:
I would say that Enjoy the story more than I enjoy the writing style of D.H. Lawrence. It was very hard concerning the style of the writing, using "Venerable Accent" beside the so much description to the wood and natural side of life, It was like reading a political book that go against a certain idea. Besides most Lawrence stories are mostly based on Colliers Villages and British Nobility, criticizing the Machine and Industrialization, It was like repeating the same thing in all his books. It was obvious that he uses the main components of his life in all his works, anyway I conclude that he was successful in exploring the techniques of psychology in all his Characters, Imitating the style of the Russian Dostoevsky, that way I would say he was clever to some extent.

Recommendations:
The Book contains some hot scenes of Lady Chatterley with the Game Keeper Mellors. so I don't recommend the book to people under the age of puberty, otherwise I would recommend it to people who are familiar with the writing style of D.H. Lawrence. The book is not easy to be understood so try to make some hard mental works to get the meaning.

Review of Candide ou L'optimisme by Voltaire

Candide, ou L'optimismeCandide, ou L'optimisme by Voltaire
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Disclosure:
I bought this Edition in a Paperback with the same features shown in the Photograph, It was opposed on the Manual of our second year in High School.

My Plot:
In fact the story of Candide was somehow Philosophical, telling the story of a Young dumb boy called Candide, who lived in the Château of the Baron of Thunder-Ten-Truncheon, This young boy used to the student of Pangloss the Philosopher who all the time admit that there is nothing bad in this world, and that only the good exists. in fact Candide grasp this without discussion, and one day Candide was thrown out of this nice world by being caught Kissing Cunégonde the daughter of the Baron, this incident was the start of the big trouble to his life. after this incident he was caught by the Bulgaria army, who take him as a servant inside the military in a clever way, he runs away from the Army and was welcomed by Jack who take him to Lisbon. from this incident the trip of discovering the world begin with Candide, where he moved to the Latin America and to the whole world. where they finally settle in Constantinople. Their trip over the world was like stages where they discover the bad concept of life in this whole life.

Positive and Negative aspects:
Reading this novel is a best thing to change your view toward this world. in fact the philosophical concept of the good and the bad was invested in a clever way. the Good manner of expressing ideas in an indirect way was also beautiful, also the criticism of the European dumbness and the nobleness was also present. in fact this book really inspire me, due to its contents. Concerning the negative aspects inside this book, I really admit that there is nothing bad inside the whole book. it was all a story of conflict between two the good and the bad in a very clever way making the persons inside the story confess all the idea that the writer want to express.

My Personal Reaction:
In fact I react with this book in a positive way. I really love the way where Voltaire express his ideas and criticism in a very clever way. I really loved the conflict between two different things, In fact Candide will remain a status to every one who is fond of philosophical matters.

HeidiHeidi by Johanna Spyri

Disclosure:
I would completely admit that I got this Edition from the National Library in Moscow. It was a fine Edition with a good quality of writing.

My Plot:
The story take place in the Alps mountains in Switzerland, a Young orphan girl called Heidi was brought by her Aunt DETE, to stay in her Grandfather cottage above in the mountains, DETE was getting a Job in Frankfurt as a house keeper, and she had to deliver the small daughter to her Grandfather. Heidi was so existed with the first meeting of her Grandfather who had bad relations with the villagers. Heidi deals with the life in the mountains with Uncle Alp. From time to time Heidi had to go with Peter to the mountains to take care of the Goats that Peter bring from the Village. Heidi's life with the villagers was all Happiness and Joy. Everybody seems happy by her being among them. But suddenly DETE comes back to take the child to Frankfurt for a Job offer. The change from the village to Frankfurt caused a sad impression to Heidi, she misses the villagers and her grandfather. But lately she found a good deal with Clara the ill and sick girl. As the story goes Heidi came back to the village with the ability to read and write. She takes care of Grannie, the old blind woman. After a while the Disabled girl Clara comes to visit Heidi in her native village. After several fine days Clara lost her wheelchair in an accident, Peter throw it from the mountains. With the help of Heidi and her Grandfather Clara becomes able to walk. And the whole family became happy with the big substitute change that touched the life of Mr. Sesemann; Clara's father.

The Positive and Negative aspects:
I admit with joy that the whole story was fine. everything, including the flow of Events, the nature of Language and the childish life that Heidi was leading. It was a good depiction of Switzerland and all its inhabitants. Personally I was fond of the life that Heidi used to live in, Having cheese and goats milk for breakfast, running up in the mountains and caring for the nice goats of Uncle Alp. There was no negative aspect since this story was meant for the enjoyment and the good feeling of the readers.

My Personal Reaction:
I would personally say that this book make me feel cheerful, Actually I am somehow near to Heidi's personality, She loves to help people and care for them like me. Sometimes I feel that I am the intended person inside this story. However I am far from being that way, because I am not living in the same condition where Heidi lives.

Recommendations:
I would recommend this nice story to all the Orphans who lost their parents, to all the children who seeks for enjoyment, and to every literature fan. The book contains no offense or negative feelings toward anyone.

Review of Jude the Obscure by Thomas Hardy

Jude the Obscure Jude the Obscure by Thomas Hardy
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Disclosure:
I admit that I got a copy of this Novel in PDF format, It was assigned in the Curriculum of Studies for the English Language students. Soon I am going to own a Paperback copy of it.

My Plot:
The story was about an Orphan Boy Called Jude, who used to live in the cottage of his Aunt called Drusilla Fawley, at the Beginning of the story the scene was depicting the take off of the schoolmaster Mr. Phillotson, who was going from Marygreen to Christminster for the sake of University studies in an attempt to Improve his social position inside the Victorian society. before the departure Phillotson gave Jude some recommendations to work hard and to study whenever chance he gets, and that soon the day of Pay off will come. Jude was told also to be kind with all animals, and that Christminster is going to the city of lights where he will grasp the nice chance for a better Future. In fact Jude put these ideas as principles inside his mind, thinking of Christminster as a Utopian city where lights and science shine altogether. He grew hasty working on the bakery of his aunt and reading the books of Greeks and Latin that the schoolmaster send them to him, Jude start learning Free Masonry in Alfredston until the day when he met Arabella and fall in love with her, after a tricky attempt; Arabella get married to Jude and they start having a nice life till the day when Arabella showed off moving to Australia with her Family, Jude left alone, Than he decides to move to Christminster, this step made a big change inside his life. He continues working on Masonry in Christminster and making correspondence with the Masters of Universities and Colleges inside Christminster, He was desperate since his dream was broken down with the Truth of Christminster, as his days went on he met his Cousin Sue Bridehead and get in touch with the Previous schoolmaster, Sue was offered a job by Mr Phillotson as a Teaching assistant, and Jude continues in Free Masonry, until the day when Sue Get married with Mr. Phillotson, Jude changed his destination moving to another village Called Melchester where he get much closer to his cousin as a lover. as the story goes Sue run off from Mr. Phillotson to live freely with Jude, this nice step was the beginning of struggle inside the Victorian society, Jude move to Aldbrickham and soon they were not admitted especially with the show of Timer, Jude's son from Arabella. This curse was following them wherever they go. they moved to Christminster again, there children were executed by (Old Time), Later became baptized as Jude, Sue run away to remarry the Schoolmaster, Jude remarry Arabella. At the final stage, Jude died from Lung inflammation while Arabella was flirting with Dr. Vilbert, during Remembrance day in Christminster.

Positive and Negative Aspects:
Speaking of Positives, I would say that Thomas Hardy's story was very close to the Reality of the Victorian age inside Britain, it was a nice attempt to depict the real situation of an arrogant society that does not accept difference or anti-conformism, but anyway we would say nice just for the sake of Hardy's effort to bring truth to us.
Concerning the Negatives, I admit that this is the worst depiction I've ever had concerning the English world, the worst ever. Nuisance was flowing everywhere inside a society that tend to stick around Religion as a key for the salvation. A Society that does not accept blasphemy but it goes against the will of its components, In fact Jude's life inside this society was the worst ever. I've never had the idea that the English society was so stupid to judge persons from their appearances. It was an unjust comparison between Religion and Culture inside the society. Personally the writer makes a massive attack against the main components of the Victorian age including, Education - Religion - Marriage.

My Personal Reaction:
I was so sad when I finished reading this story, I personally stand with Jude since this society did not go in fair with him, Arrogant society that go against a weak person to throw him away, I would say that Thomas Hardy was so Harsh for making Jude in such a situation, so Harsh to give the main Protagonist dreams and to broke him down at the same time, I really interfere badly since the event of Jude's death, especially when the so called his wife was in a relation with another woman. In general I would say that it was all bad, and shame on the writer for being so Harsh to the Protagonist for nothing. I really feel sad for Jude at the end.

Recommendations:
First I don't recommend this story for the weak hearts persons, But rather I would recommend this book to the persons who are familiar and fond of Thomas Hardy's writings.

Review of Journey Into Barbary by Wyndham Lewis

Journey Into Barbary: Morocco Writings and Drawings of Wyndham LewisJourney Into Barbary: Morocco Writings and Drawings by Wyndham Lewis
My rating: 1 of 5 stars

Disclosure:
I get this edition of Wyndham Lewis book from Casablanca, during a touristic tour in Morocco. I was thinking that I may come across some amazing facts about this country but the Reality was against my expectations.

My Plot:
In the beginning of the book the writer starts by admiring his native country "England" with a poetic style. He was going to leave London since he published his controversial book on Hitler, He decides to move from London to another location where his ideological background would not matter. So the first Journey begins from "London" to "Paris". In Paris he makes a stop, buying some books and maps. Actually he was making a preparation to explore an unnatural world. From Paris he took the French ship heading toward Algeria. His journey in Algeria was so amazing, he was satisfied by the French buildings and the big change that France brought to this country. The next stop is Morocco, where the writer was so astonished by the old buildings and Kasbas. He engaged to several stereotypes that depicts Moroccan Berbers so badly, his writings were submitting the Idea that these Local population have no culture, aggressive and they need somebody who could cultivate and represent them, and from here came his admiring to the French colonization of North Africa. His journey reached to the southern parts of Morocco called "Barbaria", searching for the truth of the Travelers' Enigma toward this Country.

Positive and Negative aspects:
I would love to call this book, an Imperial description to North African culture. Actually it was full of controversial images that depict Morocco so badly. First "the writer" or "the painter" take hold of all knowledge, inside his book; he consider himself as the center of knowledge. "As an Interpretation" Paris and London for him are the capitals that provide the world with Culture and Science, and Other cities are just a dwelling places, Another aspects that makes me disturbed was this reference of "I was told" in the whole book. he was trying to make all the stereotypes go true. The drawings went for the sake of degradation. And the feeling of "Superlativeness" was the dominant touch in all the book.

My Personal reaction:
This is the first time I read a book which deceives my expectations. I was trying to bring out the nice aspects of this country and enjoy the cultural life inside it. But Mr. Wyndham Lewis makes me see his book with a negative response. Well his point of view toward North Africa was so disapproving. He had some stereotypes about this region, and by coming to it, his book was a fake mirror that represent the region in primitive way. He was thinking that he may found people in "Barbaria" as animals who needs to be educated and brought back to life but reality was far from his anticipations. I really wasn't fond of the writer's view toward this country, because I can't distrust million of tourist - who admire Morocco and its culture, So summing up all this book, The depiction that Wyndham makes to this region was so subjective, and that's the reason why I didn't enjoy it.

Recommendations:
First of all, this book is a sort of depiction to the north african in a colonial context, so there is no need to take these ideas in reality. If you are traveling to these countries you better stick around a touristic guide better than this controversial book full stereotype. If you have any objection concerning this review please contact me and we will discuss what's the matter.

Review of Lonely Planet Russia Ukraine Belarus

Lonely Planet Russia, Ukraine & BelarusLonely Planet Russia, Ukraine & Belarus by Ryan Ver Berkmoes
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Disclosure:
I have got this edition of Lonely Planet as an evident to show the western intentions of the Eastern Europe or as they call "the House of Communism", but fortunately the Book was far from expectations.

Overview:
The Book is a sort of general Touristic presentation of the Russian heritage and Culture including Russia, Ukraine and Belarus. It took the Region with depiction from several sight, Cultural Heritage and Historical sights are the most dominant objects in this Book. Besides it depict the most common places in the Russian world, including addresses and telephone number of the Hotels, in addition to some demonstration to the most national symbol of Russian cuisine. Another point is that the book contains some key dialogue in Russian that could be used during the tourist trip, Including words that one have to use inside the restaurant or inside the Russian Tea Salon, How to order a drink. Anyway the book is intended to be a nice guide in this vague world of Culture.

Positive and Negative Aspects:
Most of the Information inside the Book are trustworthy, the design and the nature of Information are up to date, besides It contains some maps that could be useful during the trip in this region. the Russian Phrases used inside the book are so limited. Though I recommend a prior Russian knowledge rather than laying on the sentences used in the Book, because Russian has a vague number of accents. The accent used in the sentences is the standard one, and if the Tourist used it abnormally he would be seen as a stranger obviously. That's why I always recommend a close contact with the population rather than sticking on the "ready to take" source of Information.

My Personal Reaction:
I reveal that I am a "Russophile". Meaning, I love so much the Russian culture and I don't mind being one of them, but reading this book made me feel proud of the cultural heritage, the big change and the development that Russia has gave to this Region. I really feel my head high being a person who fall in love with these countries and these peoples who don't feel afraid of being loved as writers admire them. Back to the Book I would said that Lonely Planet was successful in getting much information and posing it in a civil manner for the "Persons" who want to feel devotion to this Russian world, but I guess that a lot of change had been made in Russia, that's why I Hope to review another updated version of this book.

Recommendations:
I would recommend this Book to all the person who get a certain love toward Russia and its culture. However I recommend people to get in touch with the population in order to get more cultural connection rather than staying as stranger. In addition I recommend people to have prior knowledge with the Cyrillic alphabets, because it is the main alphabets in most situations. But ultimately Tourist would get lucky because foreign languages became in use for the last decades. Just try to be a positive visitor and do not cause trouble.

Review of Morocco by Lonely Planet Publications

MoroccoMorocco by Lonely Planet Publications
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Disclosure:
This is a Touristic Manual or Guide as its been called, It contains the main touristic components of the Moroccan life so it's something very crucial to have, I bought it when I was in my Tour in Morocco.

Overview:
I didn't put a plot for this because it does not contains any story to tell, It is just a touristic manual divided into five parts, It explores Morocco from the North Region and the Atlantic region, the South and the East, Each part is containing a certain form of Tourism, like environmental tourism in the East, Adventurous Tourism in the South of Sahara and the climbing of the Atlas high mountains in the center region, In fact the Book took Morocco as a geographic part which connects African culture with Arabic culture, in fact the whole country is a mixture of Cultures so there no wonder if the tourist come across something mixed.

Positive and Negative Aspects:
Reading this book in a manner of "Tourist" is something weird. In fact the local population will take the burden and make you in no need for this book, You will find a plenty of Tourist Guides ready to speak for your part and help you in every situation, besides Foreigners became the center of attention for the Moroccan government, so there is no fear to be robbed or assaulted because the Police patrol are doing their job efficiently especially in the big touristic cities like Marrakesh and Agadir. But concerning the main aspects of the book, I would say that this written guide contains some phrases that can be used as keys to express the one's needs in a certain situation, besides it contains all the prices of everything that could be bought during the Journey from one place to the other including: the Bus ticket price, and the price of meals that the visitor may encounter. Moreover this book contains even the addresses of the most precious hotels and their phone number, classifications, and all the services provided. I 'd rather assume that this book is updated from year to year due to the positive changes that undergo this country.

My Personal Reaction:
Personally I would say that having this book is something very crucial, I really enjoy the information inside it, and I am ready to give it to anyone who needs it. All the information are doubtless. Besides this guide would help the tourist to overcome all the communicational obstacles with the local population through the phrases used inside it. Finally I may recommend people to come in touch with the local population and not to rely to the book completely, by doing so the Tourist would become familiar with that country's aspects and culture.

Recommendations:
This book is recommended to all the people who are planing to make a trip to Morocco, in order to discover the cultural and the natural side. The book is so fruitful, and is available in English and French in addition to some versions of Spanish and Portuguese.

Review of Mayo Clinic Family Health Book by Scott C Littin

Mayo Clinic Family Health BookMayo Clinic Family Health Book by Scott C. Litin
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Disclosure:
I get this Edition as a reference for all health problems that happens to humanity, It is a sort of encyclopedia with medical entries, and quite understanding quality. I own a Paperback version of it.

Overview:
The Book is a sort of a big Medical reference with alphabetical entries. Organized in accordance with each situation, It contains, steps of not panicking, how to deal in such hard situation and how to prevent person from such hard situations, The book includes human life situation including Birth, Youth, Old hood and Death. After the Book may contains entries of each Human organ with a listing of all the diseases that may through it. At the Bottom there are Illustration that take in account all the aspects of Human physics, with colored illustration to each Organ.

Positive and Negative Aspects:
I won't go on details to tell about the good and the Bad inside the Encyclopedia, Otherwise I would appreciate the manner that each problem is handled, there is a description of the side effects of the disease they are speaking, and tell you the most effective medicine for it if possible, If there is no solution they may tell you to have a visit to the doctor, if things get worse, Personally it was a nice attempt from Mayo Clinic workers to have such proper relation with the Public and get near them even in the most crucial moments. Speaking of Negatives, I would said none, because the Language mostly used in the Book is medical and Technical, there is no such poetic language to criticize, no decision to be hold against and Nothing bad at all.

My Personal Reaction:
Personally I use this book as a medical reference for every situation I encounter. It is very useful and easy to get to every entry you need. I Love the simplicity of Language and the easy style for describing, the nice quality for illustrations. It was all nice and clean. that's why I put 5 stars over the Rating block of it.

Recommendations:
This book is very crucial for every living human, At least through it one would get an idea of how his body is working. and How organs are giving their function, and How person should care about their bodies. It was nice to have this wherever one's go.

Review of 1984 by George Orwell

19841984 by George Orwell
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Disclosure:
I get this nice edition from the well known website of Planet eBooks. It was a nice attempt to reach something that was impossible to reach during the hot Political days. I have it in PDF Form.

My Plot:
First of all, this not a real story that happens. It is just an Imagination of the world after the war the Orwell used to participate in. In fact it was all a world that consist of three powerful states. Oceania, Eurasia, and Eastasia. Our main focus lay on Oceania the country that was Ruled by the INGSOC the Abbreviation of English Socialism. Inside Oceania was the Protagonist Winston Smith. a functioned outer party member who used to work as a Rectifier in the Department of Records in the Ministry of Truth. Our Protagonist used to lead a life full of fears and hatred due to the constriction level that the INGSOC Party used to implement on its citizens. Oceania divided into three main social entities. Big Brother at the top followed by the Inner party Members followed by the Outer Party Member and finally the Proles who last the Social Pyramid. Anyway Winston was leading a normal life at the beginning of the story, until the day when he decided to write a diary to the future. It was obvious that the Citizens were forbidden from such a thing including writing diaries and Thinking of the pasts in addition to the falsification of the facts that the party said. Winston go against these norms as a rebellion, This fact annoyed the Inner Party member called O'Brien, and thus he pull the trigger saying to Winston that he "will meet him in a Place where there is no Darkness." Winston grows hasty with this statement. He get enthusiastic with O'Brien. Days past when he fall in love with Julia an outer party member, there meeting first began with Hatred toward her till he get the small paper saying "I love You". They pass some fine days together in a secret way. Winston lent a room in Mr. Charrington Junk shop. There he spent most of his time Julia. Until the date when they both met O'Brien, Winston shows an ardent feeling to get against the party and to rebel over it. O'Brien gave Winston a Falsified sort of the BOOK that Emmanuel Goldstein pretend to write. In fact Winston put a blind thrust toward O'Brien and that's what leads him to be arrested and tortured by the Taught Police in the Ministry of Love where O'Brien was his chief torturer. In the End Winston and Julia both got enough Torture and Winston had a brain wash. In the last Chapter Winston became a daily customer of the Chestnut Tree Café. he get another Job in the making of the Newspeak dictionary, Finally the shot him secretly and thus was the Finish line of the story.

Positive and Negative Aspects:
I would say that this story was the worst of all time. It was obvious that the INGSOC was somehow like an imitation of the Russian Socialist party during the Soviet Union. but the Laws used here in the book were exaggerated. People were deprived from thinking and from learning, from every aspect of good life. Besides it was unsuccessful attempt to imagine a party that was going to kill the sex instinct and the language as well. the INGSOC was trying to kill all the Human aspects of life and to make from the citizens as dog that do not dare to say anything front of the Party. Everything the party said is right and ineligible to be discussed. Besides falsifying the past was not something new to us. Indeed It was negative to imagine a world that will never stop from war. It was a Horror inside Horror but this time in an imaginative way, Another bad aspects inside the story, was the Chapters of Goldstein's book. It was a devastating to read a long meaningless Chapter that O'Brien deceived Winston's with. I read them and I feel a Headache inside my Head. Because it was a Book inside a Book. Finally It was meaningless too to read the last appendix of the Newspeak. because nothing is worth reading inside it but a minor Glimpse of how the party changed it language form.

My Personal Reaction:
Actually I wasn't fond of the story so much. Besides I was negatively impressed especially by the manner of Torture that the Ministry of Love used toward every convicted inside it. I expect George Orwell will deny any sort of torture but in fact he was teaching the world of how to implement these kinds of torture. I put a shame to the world, because much of the methods that are used by the party in the Book are used nowadays in the world of our Generation especially in the Arab world. where the King represent the Big Brother who can't get be reached to or he should not criticized, or so on and so forth. I was waiting from the writer to ban these forms of killing the human nature but he was otherwise reviving the weak instinct of Power inside every ruler today. The Death of Winston represent the status of human who want to live with mind and Logic. It was a nice symbolizing but a worse teaching for the other part. In another way I gave this book 5 stars just because of its literature attempt, but in fact the contents according to the Newspeak are DOUBLE PLUS UNGOOD.

Recommendations:
I don't recommend this book to anybody, Otherwise it should be banned, due to its negative teachings of such negative forms of life. It was a Book full of worst aspects of life and full of political problems. If someone read it I am sure he will get full of Intoxication. Without forgetting that this Book used to be Banned in several countries. All I would say is that for people who want to read it should care much of themselves by not implementing the methods of life used inside it.

Review of To Build a Fire by Jack London

To Build a Fire and Other Stories (Bantam Classics Series)To Build a Fire and Other Stories by Jack London
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Disclosure:
I got this Edition of Jack London stories free from a friend of mine, I get in English, I have an Electronic version of the Book and soon I am planing to have it in Kindle too.

My Plot:
The story was about an American who was traveling to the Yukon Territory in Canada, he was looking forward to meet some friend there, In fact the Hero's aim from this journey was to look for the Gold, so he took his Husky and Start the Journey in a very cold winter day, He was crossing the River but unfortunately he gets wet all over and the Temperature was below - 59. so he chooses to build a fire and gets away from the danger of Freezing, but due to the attempts he made the fire was gone due to a blow of snowy wind, but the will was hot in him so he decide to build another fire but with another desperate will, he was aware that he is going to lose some toe from the Frostbite, but the fire went off again, The main Character decide to kill the dog and warm his toe from the temperature of his body, but he could not get out the knife and could not get the Dog closer too, so he went on a blackout, the Dog comes closer to his master to smell his death body, and went running to the direction where the camps lie, to look for help of his master.

Positive and Negative Aspects:
The story was all nice, I admit that completely, It was the first story to be told without naming the Characters or showing their identities, but speaking of Positives, I would say that this is the first story to put Nature as a Third Character. The whole story was a conflict against the instinct and the logic, and the most winning chance was for the nature. Inside the Story Nature and Instinct were represented in the snow and the Husky, most of the events were against the Main Character who fought in despair. It was a battle against the most needed elements in life, which are fire, water, and air. so the writer was professional in combining these elements through his story. Speaking of Negatives, I would say that nothing annoy me from reading this story, It was written in an Understandable English, and Most of the Elements are quite simple.

My Personal Reaction:
Reading this story made me think of the change that the Dearest American made to the world of Literature, It was a very nice Movement of Change in the story telling Techniques. Jack London made a big difference between American Literature and English Literature. I really enjoy the change that has been the American literature especially in "To Build a Fire". Personally I would admit that this is the first step that made me fall in love with the Literature of this Country.

Recommendations:
I would recommend this story to the new audience of Literature, to all the fans of American Literature and to those who are seeking the change in the world of Literature, Automatically The reader of this story will change the parameters of his favorite type of stories.

Review of The Further Adventures Of A London Call Girl by Belle de Jour

The Further Adventures Of A London Call GirlThe Further Adventures Of A London Call Girl by Belle de Jour
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Disclosure:
I get this edition from Amazon.com I bought it in an Electronic form, written in English with a nice quality of writing alphabets.

My Plot:
The whole story was an autobiography, of a British girl who was coming far from London to make her studies in Physics in the London University. In fact the girl has to support herself by some money, that was the right decision she made, She contacted the Agency of sexual services, she works as a call girl, in fact she fancied the Blow job and all sorts of Horny sex, inside her diary she speak about her friends and the whole crew, and how difficult it is this job, once have to keep maximum anonymity by entering the Hotel or during the meeting of some clients. Also she talks about the regularities that every girl has to make during her job, including the waxing and the makeups, bearing the condoms and the proper tools for keeping oneself safe from the danger of this profession, but all her purposes was rounding in one point. "Money" especially when she said that "Good girls don't, Bad girls do, and the Best Girls do it for money..." In fact she was a nice diary that gave a picture of the General inside the big city of London.

Positive and Negative aspects:
I was fond of the diaries in General, all sorts of diary at which you would have a chance to grasp an idea of how the real life of someone is. The positive aspects in this diary - or whatever could be named - is the factor of Truth, actually she shares all the aspects of her life with the readers, it was a nice initiation for a writer to keep her audience informed by the latest aspects of her daily life, especially those who never live in her same environment. However it was somehow bad to get reader more near to the proper life of the book writer for example her Relation with her proper boyfriend. Beside depicting some sort of disgusting situations. Finally the Language was all ungrammatical

My Personal Reaction:
I feel somehow active and supporter of this writer especially when she dare not to show her real name, but it was all OK. Personally I get an idea of how these workers have lived their life inside London, and how they managed to be safe especially in the most dangerous moments in their life. The book in fact was all nice but the nature of the Language used inside it, is daily vulgar with a focus on the British accent. anyway I enjoy reading it.

Recommendations:
I recommend this book for all the Anthropologists like me who looking through for a better understanding of the human nature inside the big cities. I do not recommend this book for young audience under 21 Years.

Review of Le Pére Goriot by Honoré de Balzac

Le Père GoriotLe Père Goriot by Honoré de Balzac
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Disclosure:
I have been reading this Novel during my Second Year in High School, I bought it as a main component in the National Curriculum, Currently I have a paperback of it in French, in addition to a Kindle Version.

My Plot:
The whole story shed light over Three persons, Pere Goriot an old man who spent most of his money in favor to support his two well married daughter. Eugene De Rastignac, a Humble law student who seeks to live like the hight Parisian society. and Vautrin a suspected criminal, the three Characters lives in a Mansion situated in Paris owned by Madame Vauquer. Pere Goriot was frequented by all the Boarders inside Vauquer's Mansion, Vautrin and Eugene Discovered that Pere Goriot was Bankrupted and at the Moment he is living with his heart toward his Daughters. Vautrin tries to convince Eugene to Follow a young unmarried lady called Victorine, in favor Vautrin suggest to kill her brother to get the fortune together, Vautrin in this respect had been caught by the police for trying to kill Victorine's brother. Pere Goriot suggest to Eugene to have a love affair with his daughter Delphine, and to release her from her arrogant husband. Pere Goriot suffered from a stroke by Hearing that his Daughter is selling her Husband's jewels to pay her debt, he was feeling impotence, He got worse especially when none of his daughters came to visit him, after days he died. During the Funeral none of his daughters came to say good bye to their Father, He was buried only with the presence of Eugene and Christophe the Mansion servant, in addition to two paid mourners. After the Funeral, Eugene set out to dine with Delphine saying after the sight of Paris during the Evening " A Nous Deux Maintenant".

Positive and Negative Aspects:
Speaking of Positive aspects, I would admit that the story was a realistic master piece of Balzac, and that makes it the top of my list, Indeed the elements used inside the story represent a realistic touch against the life in Paris, so all the aspects in the story are true, in addition the events inside the story were going in normal path. but negatively, I feel the hardness in understanding the events smoothly and that was quite in my Plot writing, the story was like a web that is hard to get out from it. Besides it shows the social immorality that Paris has lead during the Restoration of the Bourbon Dynasty. the parent disrespect, and the bad will toward money and high class.

My Personal Reaction:
Speaking of my personal opinion, I really felt sorry about the main Character of the story, I hate the disrespect the daughters had toward their parent, the bad instinct of Eugene toward getting high in the top social class without giving less consideration to the social norms, I admit that even if I am a fan of the Realistic novel, this story really made me feel offended with the Characters behavior inside it. It was the literary revolution against the social arrogance. Generally, I admit that the story was enjoyable but the contents were worst far more.

Recommendations:
The story of Pere Goriot is a part of "La Comedie Human" which take in a critical manner all the aspects of life in Paris during the periods of Kingship, So I would recommend it to all the Literature students who gets the first step toward the Realistic novel, I would recommend it also to the people who give more focus to the moral side of the Characters, and to the French people who are willing to explore the True history of their nation.

Review of Fi Toufoula by Abdelmajid Ben Jelloun

في الطفولةFi Toufoula by Abdelmajid Ben Jelloun
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Disclosure:
The Book I am reviewing now is an Autobiography of a Moroccan writer who used to live in Manchester during his childhood, I just get Interested on how these people think of England, I bought it in Paperback written in Arabic. The title means "In Childhood".

My Plot:
The story began with a "questionable style" of how the writer was born, It was a complete blackout for the writer to ignore the aspects of his birth. After that he start telling about his trip to England and especially in Manchester City, where he start getting a fear from the "Cold Nature" of England. The writer gets along with an English Family, called PATERNOS, His focus was going much to Millie, who was the elder daughter of the family. Most of the writer's conversations with Millie were about missing his mother who had been death, about his will to enjoy in England. Soon he had been accustomed with the Tradition of the "English World" and the beautiful aspects of life inside England. His joy begin when visiting the Black Pool. But suddenly this joy was converted to fear especially when he saw the Quick Train falling out from Its rails, and how people were falling like "butterflies". The writer gets back to his native country during the vacation, After a while the Writer start having regular lessons in England due to the obligation of Education in that country, School life did not change the writers intentions especially by the death of his sister. and the following death of his cousin's daughter. The writer in this period makes a process of a "resurrection" especially when he move to Fes, and starts by having regular lessons in "the University of Al Karawiin", he falls in love with the teachers inside the University, and Start having a devotion to the Arab Literature. from this step forward he moves to Egypt to become the very famous literary figure named Abdelmajid Ben Jelloun,

Positive and Negative Aspects:
Since it was the first time I read an Autobiography of an Arab famous writer, I would say that it is enjoying, first the Events go smoothly without interruption, and there was so much psychological description especially in the writer's feeling. Speaking of the Positive aspects, I would say that all the elements that concerns the writing styles were all presented inside this Autobiography, moreover there was much admiration and love to the Arab world and to everything that relates to it. The writer stays objective toward the Traditions of England but most of the time he fears from it, In other words, the writer gets his "opium" from the Arab Arts and Literature not from the British tradition. Concerning the negative aspects, I would confess that there was no harm that may bother the reader, because the whole story was all simple and clear.

My Personal Reaction:
I have read so much Autobiographies but this one was the most likely to represent the Moroccan skills in writings. It was all nice and simple, the Language went formal all time, the styles stayed simple and fruitful, the events go smoothly without interruption. Personally I enjoy reading it. and I would confess that I can translate it to English if I get the chance to do so. Anyway it worths being read again.

Recommendations:
I hear that the Autobiography became a part of the Moroccan curriculum but indeed I would recommend to those who want to explore the Moroccan style in writings, I recommend it to all ages because it contains no obstacles to understand it, at all.

Review of بداية و نهاية by نجيب محفوظ

بداية ونهايةبداية ونهاية by نجيب محفوظ
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Disclosure:
I came across this nice story of NAGIB MAHFOUZ During my Tour in Morocco, I was much devoted to the Arabic Literature I bought it with 6 Euro. with the same features above.

My Plot:
First of all, I would say that all the stories narrated by NAGIB MAHFOUZ happens in Poor neighborhood in Egypt; In fact "Bidaya Wa Nihaya" was a direct criticism to this life in General. The story begins with the Death of the Father, Three children and a Daughter were under the responsibility of the Mother. Hassan, Housein, Hassanin, and Nafisa were Characters of different dimensions, First the Mother worked hard to make the Family overcome the difficulties of life, Hassan worked as a Musician inside a popular party group, he was so adorable to his father until he becomes one of the bitters inside the family, Housein was a mighty man who feels the need of the family and worked hard to overcome poverty, He was the best Characters inside the story, the Latter was Hassanin, a very cruel and rude one, he didn't like the way the family lives in, he was always against the rules, He came to be a sub-officer inside the Egyptian army but Life goes against him as well he fall in love with a girl inside the Bourgeois class but that love came to be the principles of his end; Nafisa the Only daughter inside the family worked as a tailor, but later she falls in a falsified love with a shop keeper who deceive her, in the last moment she begin having promiscuous relations for the sake of money. and thus the life of the family came to an end after being a united family during the life of it's main keeper (the father).

Positive and Negative Aspects:
Speaking of Positive aspects I would say the Following, the flow of events and the nature of story telling are all amazing, they seem entirely held by a professional writer, besides, the nature of story telling sometimes held by the characters themselves, and that's what represent the Touch of modernity inside MAHFOUZ books. Concerning the negative aspects, I would admit that story was a complete tragedy, the writer take no mercy or any slow feeling to the Characters, It was so harsh from the beginning to the End like the story title. Besides the Story inflect the real nature of the Egyptian society towards orphans in General. Generally reading this story would make you revolt and go against anything that relates to poverty.

My Personal Reaction:
Reading this story would make you feel sad to most extent, I really took mercy upon the Characters, It was like they were paying the sins that they do not commit at all, having a girl who make promiscuous relations for the sake of money, a very harsh society that looks only for the sake of it's profit, a worthless religion that take no effect upon it's followers and so on and so forth, all these circumstances plays indirectly inside the events of the story, But what inspires me the most was the sudden attack that the writer had toward his own society, Attacking through literature was a nice mindful step. Generally the story was a complete tragedy that no nice event would go inside it. So it is worthy to feel it inside.

Recommendations:
The story is written in Arabic so I don't recommend to all the Audience, However I would recommend it to people who had a prior knowledge of the Arab world in general and the Egyptian society particularly, Though I will stay tuned to any of our readers who might need help to understand it. Otherwise it would be worthy for the Arab themselves to read about their tragic past.

The Story focus on a Small vicar family which contains a Father and two daughters in addition to an old blind woman and a spiteful aunt. The whole family moves from the south of England to a Vicarage in the Middle of Britain. the two Daughters Yvette and Lucile, were fighting against the gloom that start to dominate their life. The Two Daughter begin to make friends and have relations with other persons. During a trip organized with some friends, Yvette encounters a Gypsy and his family, This meeting change the whole way for Yvette who felt a kind of Spiritual attachment, She fall in love with a Jewish woman, who had been left by her Husband. Yvette Father's discover these surpasses, and Threat Yvette in an Asylum. During a sudden flood, the Grandmother had been drown, and the free spirited Gypsy came to rescue Yvette from the Flood.

Positive and Negative Aspects:
The main beautiful aspect of the story was the simplicity of the events, and the smoothness of the narration techniques, the nature of the plot was very simple, it was somehow meant to be read by small children, like the Snow White and the seven Gypsies. but the main objective of the story was the enjoyment. It was far from the complicated style of D.H. Lawrence and his philosophical depression. Negatives were not stated at all. that's why I rated it with five stars.

My Personal Reaction:
Personally, I enjoy reading this story, It was short and simple the characters were not complicated and the Author's touch was smooth. Besides, the imaginative touch was wide and acknowledged. It was really a fine work in the history of D.H. Lawrence. Generally the story worth being reread one again.

Recommendations:
I would recommend this story for the persons who want to explore the simplicity and the nice style of D.H. Lawrence far more from the complexity of Industrialization and Human nature. the Story is simple and could be read to all audience at any age.

Review of Fences by August Wilson

FencesFences by August Wilson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Disclosure:
This Piece of American Theater was the best example we had during our studies in the subject of American Theater during the University years. I own a copy of it. and I am willing to have it in Kindle Version too.

My Plot:
The First beginning of the Theater was the depiction of the scene beside the critics of the city as an entity that gave the whites love and Black people are bound with hate. After that came the beginning of the story occurs in a cottage outside a big city. the cottage was encircled by several dirty environment in addition to some entities that shows the house dwellers are interesting in baseball game. The main Personalities are the Maxon's family including Troy and Rose and her son Cory. In addition to the Protagonist brother Gabriel who used to be a Marine inside the U.S Army but due to the damage that the war caused he somehow loses his Marbles. The main subject of the Play was the bitterness of Troy that caused the loved ones to be fled from him. It was his attempt to make them stronger and be able face the struggle that blacks used to deal with. But the events go awry especially by the Death of the Protagonist following by the events that happens after his funeral.

Positive and Negative Aspects:
The Play portrays the miserable life and culture of the Black people inside the big cities in the U.S In fact it was a nice technique to criticize certain idea through literature. Besides the setting was professionally selected. But the main understanding point lays on the title which represent the human instinct toward loneliness and peace. It is a subject that submerge several discussions including the nature of life that Black have with each other, the Point of view that Blacks had toward the society they live inside. In addition to the depiction that Mass Media held toward these persons. In fact it was all nice to read this play and discuss it all over.

My Personal Reaction:
I really Interfere badly with the Play that portrays misery and Social problems inside a very developed country such as the US. I don't mean criticizing the state itself but criticizing the environment that go around the big cities. Personally It was a tragedy of Humanity. The Death of the protagonist portrays the surrender and the feeling of fails that Black have when their intentions are not fulfilled. Besides the fences that go around the setting really represent the feeling of being alone better than socializing with people who may do harm to anyone. I guess it really reflex all my intentions too.

Recommendations:
Due to it's complexity in understanding, I would recommend this play to those who makes researches concerning the Black people in America and their past situation inside the cities. the Play contains no harm concerning ethnicities that why I would say there is no harm reading it.

Review of The Sexual Labyrinth by Alina Reyes

The Sexual LabyrinthThe Sexual Labyrinth by Alina Reyes
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Disclosure:
I admit that I have a paperback edition of this book, it was somehow used but still clean and hot. I am looking to have this nice collection in Kindle format.

My Plot:
First of all, This is the first literature genre that I ever met in my life with such wonder. the book is divided into some sort of doors. And Each door leads you to a certain erotic adventures that the writer imagine in her mind. The First hot scene was in the Beach with a small person named Saladin, following a series of adventures with the Sleepy soldier and the Malicious king with whom she made a nice Orgasm. This Malicious king tells the Protagonist that she could come back Tomorrow if she seeks for more pleasure, and here the adventures goes on till the end of the Labyrinth. In fact it was amazing from all aspects.

Positive and Negative Aspects:
First of all it was a nice attempt to combine between literature and Eroticism. In fact this operation make the book reader very excited of what is going on and what will come next. Besides the depiction of Sexual scene was very professional. Indeed it makes the reader lives passionately with each Given situation. I maintain saying that I gave this book 5 stars in the rating section not just because of its hot sexual contents but with its nice style of story telling and the professional flow of events. Concerning the negative I state no bad attitude toward this small novella. Otherwise I appreciate being in contact with this book in my whole life.

My Personal Reaction:
I personally say that I enjoy reading the book for several times. It was a nice education for me to learn how to combine between Eroticism and Story telling Techniques. Besides it was a nice Sexual education for every reader especially with ice breaking techniques that the writer uses to come along the sexual depiction of the Characters. I personally encounter several enjoyments reading this nice work.

Recommendation:
Since this Book is fully Erotic I don't recommend it to Children and Minors due to it's hot scenes and depictions. Anyway I would recommend it to adult over 18 Years old.

The Encyclopedia consist of Alphabetical entries, meaning that it is easy to get directly to the field of knowledge you are aiming or to have a glimpse about the subject you are looking too without wasting time. Review of Antigone by Jean Anouilh

AntigoneAntigone by Jean Anouilh
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Disclosure:
I bought this book just for the sake to complete the synopsis of Sophocles and his nice piece of theater, It was a nice to complete the flow of events by another writer. the Book is written in French and with the same features above.

My Plot:
In the new environment after the death of Oedipus, the illegal marriage of this latter with his mother Jocasta, the outcome of this marriage results in the Born of Antigone, Ismene, Polynices and Eteocles. The two sons where the legal heirs for the throne after the death of Oedipus. as an equal judgment. Every son was given one year to rule the kingdom, But one day they go into a riot and they kill each other, and from this point start the piece of Theater. As a result Creon declare that Eteocles has to be buried in a respectable manner however Polynices was thrown to the forest to be a nice lunch for the beasts in the forest. Antigone in this respect, choose to bury her brother in spite of the objection made by her uncle Creon, She tried to convince her sister Ismene to join her deed of burying Polynices, but Ismene was the kind of girl that never brake up the divine laws. Finally. Antigone caught by the Creon's guards. and reveals that she was against the rules that gave the man the complete power over everything. She died due to Creon's rule and her sister Ismene get married with her lover Haemon.

Positive and Negative Aspects:
The story of was an adaptation of the main piece of the Greek theater Oedipus. a Legend of a Thebes. However in Anouilh version something was added to run, But it was all OK. It was another tragedy that complete its precedent one, However the writer makes some modification to make his looks like a complete version of the main piece of theater of Sophocles. In fact I really liked the state of being against the male power held by Antigone herself. It was nice to rebel against something rude and nuisance, Besides Antigone's death was like a dignity to all women in this world. Because death may symbolize several nice eternities to the women in General. All the characters in the story represent a certain form life lead by the humanity. The two brothers were fighting for throne, Ismene was the kind of submissive person to the Rules of male. Antigone was fighting against the male power to let a dignity for all women in general. Anyway it was a nice play that I enjoy by myself.

My Personal Reaction:
Personally I enjoy reading this nice piece of Theater even if it was written in French, I really loved the style used by the dramatist, the nature of language held by, and the simplicity of the dialogs performed by the Characters, The writer of this piece of art tries to make some modifications concerning the Flow of events that was perceived in the Precedent piece of Sophocles, But anyway it was all nice that's why I voted for it with five stars. Besides it was the first attempt to complete the Greek tragedy with another form of various ends.

Recommendations:
I would recommend this piece of theater to all the Francophone persons, in addition to the fans of the new form of theater. Because most of the components are new in this form of Book. It was like a rebellion against everything old, and as a resurrection for the new technique of the French theater of the 20th century.

I admit that I get this version of eBook from a friend of mine, he told that since I was interested in the Jewish literature I may have this eBook as a gift from him, It was translated into English. that's how I read it.

My Plot:
The form of the Book was a diary, so there is much abidance to the events in the diary in a form of separate clauses, It was nice how Ann told about her friends in Germany and how she was enjoying their friendship, she put some professional description on the portrait of her friends in a clever manner. She put events on how she get the diary during her birthday and how she named it as "Kitty". Through her diary Ann kept the reader in touch with all events she was narrating how the family went through several changes especially during the German National rise and the Deporting of Jews from Germany. She tells how Jews were forbidden from using the ways in the city, they were forbidden to be out of house after 8 o'clock night and how they were imposed to wear a sign of "Magim David" in their clothes during the normal flow of life. She put into consideration the process of moving from Germany and to Holland for the sake to hide from the German Rise. but during the evasion of Germany to Holland, the Frank Family were imposed to hide in an Annexe in the company where her Father Otto was working. Their life was really leading to bad conditions especially when they were forbidden to make such a noise to live inside an Annexe the whole day and Night. It was nice that some friend helped them to bring food and all the necessary needs to them. It was obvious that Family hiding place was discovered, and Ann was sent to the camp, it was very hurt feeling to read about her life in the camp.

Positive and Negative Aspects:
Given the fact that this diary was translated, from Dutch to English, the Process of Change was made very nicely, I hoped to read it in Dutch in order to feel the literary touch of this young writer. All the Literary aspects inside the diary where quite beautiful, the Jargon of Language was so simple and quite understandable, Besides the descriptive manner was more professional for a young writer as Ann Frank. Anyway there were no negative aspects that could be stated, that's why I put no objections against it.

My Personal Reaction:
It was the first time that I come across a literature produced by the Jews of Germany, Or Yiddish People in General, the literary touch was given to them in a manner of Instinct, I really admit all the Jewish literature and especially this diary. It was a nice attempt to reach the point of Idea through literary manner. Any way due to my devotion to this nature literature I was completely enjoying the show.

Recommendations:
The Diary is a simple techniques of narration of how events happens inside this particular family, In fact I would recommend to all the Jews who are interested in the Literature of Eastern Europe before the world war II, It also be recommended to all people who want to enjoy the simplicity and the nice touch of woman over literature

Bel AmiBel Ami by Guy de Maupassant
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Disclosure:
I would like to say that I own this book in Two forms, Paperback and PDF file from the Quebec bibliotheque. I read it in French and I really enjoy it.

My Plot:
The whole story was about the main character GEORGE DUROY, a simple agents in the railways company, and who was living hard days inside the lifestyle of Paris at that time. Counting the money with his days. One morning he met a friend of with who he used to study with. Mr. FORESTIER a Journalist in the Newspaper Called "La Vie Francaise". Their meeting was the first step toward the change Occurred in GEORGE Life's. FORESTIER invite for a dinner with some friends of him. Given the fact that GEORGE DUROY used to be a military surgeon within the French army in Algeria. that position pull the trigger for the Protagonist to be admitted among the Parisian society. The dinner was so friendly and George get acquainted with the main forces inside Paris society. Mr. Walter the Jewish who own the Newspaper of "La Vie Francaise" offer GEORGE the position of working inside the Newspaper with a quite affordable price. He was intended to write a diary of a Hunter inside Africa pending on his experience in the French Military. The writing was very difficult for him so he contacted Mme FORESTIER for some help. the first try was successful, and happiness begun to run inside his veins. the second time Mme FORESTIER refuse to help George for writing his second article inside the Newspaper. He was feeling despair visiting nobody a week or so. He contacted Mme DE MAREL a friend of Mme FORESTIER for a friendly visit. the Young Laurine who saw GEORGE DUROY preferred to tell him BEL-AMI as a suffix for her Friendship. Thus BEL-Ami's adventure begin. He fall in love with Mme DE MAREL considering her as His proper Mistress. After years of work inside the Newspaper, George take the position as a news collector since his first position was unsuccessful. After Mr. FORESTIER's death, GEORGE Married the widow Madelene FORESTIER who ultimately became Mme DU ROY De CANTEL. In fact even if the Marriage was successful in the change of GEORGE life but good things never last. GEORGE DU ROY De CANTEL became the center of the attention, having three Mistresses, Mme DE MAREL, Mme Walter and His wife Madelene. It feels good when he fall in love with the his Boss daughter SUZANNE. At the Finish events of the story, Mme DU ROY De CANTEL was accused with adultery being inside the Apartment of a Minister whom Ultimately became Feu Mme FORESTIER after she received her divorce from GEORGE. and the Latter became married with SUZANNA, Mme Walter was left in Grief since she was deprived of Love from Her Secret lover GEORGE. Mme De MAREL Came back to her own, wishing George a Good life during his exit from the Church.

Positive and Negative Aspects:
The fact that story was based under the Realistic current, It was a shame from a person Like GEORGE DUROY to use his Charm and Influence against ladies in order to profit from the Benefit of the Parisian life it was all shame. Letting down women and attracting others for the sake of personal profit was a monstrous instinct. The whole axes that were present in the story were Poverty and the Big will of getting out of it through the use of women and their feelings. which something that I am against it at all aspects. When it comes to the Positive aspects the story was at the proposal of any fun. No harm comes to its way. But we would say negative aspects, It would be worthy to bring in the examples that put harm on the running of the story. In fact the main negative aspect inside this story was the Bad depiction of Mr. Walter the Jewish who owns the Newspaper. and the Humorous Mocking of the Colonies cases inside the events flow.

My Personal Reaction:
Personally the story made me angry because of the deeds that the Protagonist uses to profit his own self, I was all against it. In addition to that, I would admit that I get an idea of how that French society life inside the Dream of Freedom. It seems nice from the outside but Inside there is only bad deeds and Monsters that uses woman as ladders in order to live a better life. which something that I reject completely.

Recommendations:
I would recommend this story or Book otherwise to every fan of the Parisian life and to everyone who want to know the truth about the French nation during its deepest period may be. Also it recommended to all the French Literature students all over the world.
